In addition to flat-out saying this is the owners' lockout at the end of the video, goaltender was one of the players who pointed out they were ready and willing to continue playing under the existing CBA until a new deal is reached. Just in case those weren't enough me sages, a lot of teams have been sending out their own me sages to fans, too. It goes on; other teams sent out me sages to their fans as well.It's pretty cute how everybody is now trying to pander to the fans. What it achieves, I'm not entirely sure. I don't think these statements are going to make the fans feel any better about the lack of NHL play in a few weeks' time when the season is supposed to start.If I may speak for the fans, I think we all have one collective me sage back to all the parties involved: The only me sage we want to hear is that a new deal has been reached.
