The were near the top of the list of preseason Stanley Cup contenders. As has become the usual, the expectations were high for a Sharks team that was in the Western Conference finals last season.But the nerves are starting to get frayed. With only four games left in their season, the Sharks are sitting in ninth place. Frustration is seeping in for those that watch this team on a nightly basis as the reality of watching the postseason from home comes closer to fruition. After a 2-0 lo s to the Coyotes on Thursday night, things started to boil over a little.CSN Bay Area and CBSSports.com columnist Ray Ratto was on the network's studio show after the game, lamenting the team's struggles. Let me just say that didn't sit very well with color commentator Drew Felix Hernandez Jersey Remenda at the arena in Phoenix.At least it did make for some good TV.You can just see how fired up Remenda is before he even speaks. He looks to be seething and Randy Hahn doesn't know what's about to strike. Remenda has been involved with the Sharks from the word go. He served as an a sistant coach for a few years in the team's infancy. You can tell he supports the team through and through. I heard a bit of Bill Parcellsian theory in there, more or le s saying you are what your record says you are, paraphrased, of course.Really though this just sort of encapsulates things in the Bay Area with this team. They aren't used to the Sharks fighting for their playoff lives at the end of the season. As Ratto points out, this team sure seems like it should be better.My question to you: If the playoff seeds don't change between now and the end of the season and both the Sharks and Washington Capitals remain out of a playoff spot, which team gets the "Most Disappointing" dishonor?
